Disclosure Policy

Thank you for stopping by!

My goal at FeedingOurFlamingos.com is to provide tips, tutorials, and hacks for moms who are struggling to get healthy food on the dinner table because of time restraints. I cover topics like meal planning, kitchen organization, easy recipes, and food prep.

The information you see on this site and in emails from me is free to readers and subscribers, but represents countless hours of time and research for me. For this reason, I feel compensation is appropriate. It’s also necessary in order to offset all the overhead costs it takes to run this blog, including, but not limited to, website hosting, my email service provider, and any graphic design tools.

I currently accept advertising on this site. Please do the appropriate research before participating in any third party offers. You are not obligated to click on any link or buy any products that are advertised.

I also participate in some affiliate programs, including the Amazon affiliate program (more details below) and Plan to Eat. All reviews and opinions of products for these affiliates are my own. I may receive a commission if you choose to use links located throughout the site and purchase products from these affiliates.

Both advertising and affiliate programs allow me to put my time and energy into the growth and upkeep of FeedingOurFlamingos.com as well as emails for subscribers.

You have my word, I will only promote products I personally use or can recommend without hesitation.

Integrity is important to me. Gaining and keeping the trust of you, my readers, is paramount.

What I do & don’t promote

I try to look at potential promoted products/services through the eyes of a customer. I ask myself if I would pay for it. After all, if I don’t think it’s worth paying for myself, I’d better have a really good reason to convince you to buy it.

Sprinkled throughout this site and in emails you will see references to my use of affiliate links or referral links. These references are called disclosures and are a requirement as put forth by the FTC here in the U.S.

They are there to inform you I have a relationship with a particular product or service and if you choose to purchase that product or service via my affiliate link, I will get a small commission. Of course, this is at no extra cost to you, but it does help keep my candle burning so I can keep bringing you great tips! I truly appreciate your support in this way. Thank you.
